Get onboarded with the Exchangerates API and start retrieving currency data in just a few minutes!
Step 1: Get Your API Access Key
Sign up for a free account to start using the Exchangerates API. Once registered, your personal API Access Key will be available in the Dashboard. This key is required to authenticate all API requests—keep it secure. You can reset it anytime from your Account Dashboard.

Step 2: Choose an Endpoint
Decide which API endpoint you need based on your use case:
/latest— real-time exchange rates/historical— rates for a specific date/convert— convert currency amounts/timeframe— rates over a date range
