Step 1: Get Your API Access Key
To start using the IPAPI, sign up for a free account to start using the IPAPI. Once registered, your personal API Access Key will be available in the Dashboard. This key is required to authenticate all API requests and keep it secure. You can reset it anytime from your Account Dashboard.

Step 2: Make a Request
Form a basic IP lookup by appending your IP and access key to the base endpoint:
Substitute 161.185.160.93 with any IPv4 or IPv6 address.
Step 3: Receive the Response
The API returns detailed location and network data in JSON or XML:
